Miri Yusif
Miri Yusif Mir Heydar oglu Mirbabayev, known professionally as Miri Yusif, is an
Azerbaijani rapper, singer, songwriter and director. He began his career as a
hip hop artist and was part of the group Dayirman, which released their debut
album Qurd in 2001. In the 2010s, despite the commercial dominance of hip-hop,
Miri Yusif found success with his reggae and soul fusion album Karma, which
peaked at Number 1 on the Azerbaijani Albums Chart in 2010. He also released the
albums Nirvana (2012) and Ağ Qarğa (2013).
