Benjamin John McGarvey, known as Minute Taker, and born on December 22, 1981, in
Shropshire, United Kingdom, is a recording artist. He began playing piano at age
12 and started writing his own songs shortly after. Following university studies
in contemporary music, McGarvey moved to Manchester where he self-financed his
debut album Too Busy Framing (2008). In 2010, McGarvey formed a band named The
Spiels with singer-songwriter Ryan Lamey and released their debut EP Nightvision
Part 1 (2013). Adopting the pseudonym Minute Taker in 2012, he also released his
second solo album Last ...
