Minmi is a Japanese singer noted for fusing pop with reggae, R&B and soca.
Unusually for the Japanese market, she writes and produces her own songs.
She made the charts with her 2002 reggae-influenced single 'The Perfect Vision'
and in 2003 released the album 'Miracle'. In 2004 she released the more
pop-orientated album 'Imagine' and in 2005 the soca-influenced compilation
'Friends'. She appeared in Trinidad following the success of her single
'Summertime!' in 2006 and released the album 'Natural'.
