Milton Mapes
Milton Mapes was a musical group formed in Austin, Texas in 1999. Named after
Greg Vanderpool's grandfather, the band initially consisted of Vanderpool and
Roberto Sánchez. They released their debut album The State Line in 2001, which
gained regional acclaim. The group later expanded to include Britton Beisenherz,
Cliff Brown Jr., Chris Dye, and Jim Fredley. Their second album, Westernaire,
was released in 2003 under Aspyr Media, featuring guitar-oriented songs that
