Milla Jovovich, born Milica Jovović on 17 December 1975 in Kyiv, Ukraine, is a
singer and actress who began her career as a model before transitioning to
music. After signing with SBK Records in the late 1980s, she released her debut
studio album The Divine Comedy on 5 April 1994, which combined pop‑rock with
Ukrainian folk elements and received critical praise for its lyrical depth. In
1998 she recorded a follow‑up project that remained unreleased, and in 1999 she
formed the experimental band Plastic Has Memory, performing in Los Angeles and
