Miles, a Bangladeshi rock band, was formed in Dhaka in 1979 by Farid Rashid,
Kamal Mainuddin, Larry Barnaby, Ishtiaq, Musa, Robin and Happy Akhand. The group
gained early traction performing at the Chambeeli Super Club and later on
Bangladesh Television. Their debut studio album Miles was released in 1982,
followed by A Step Farther in 1986. Miles transitioned to Bengali music with
