Jean Mikhael Paskalev Skaaden, known professionally as Mikhael Paskalev, was
born on May 24, 1987, in Ålesund, Norway. He is a singer and songwriter of
partial Bulgarian origin who studied at the Liverpool Institute for Performing
Arts, where he met Norwegian artist Jonas Alaska. In February 2012, Paskalev won
Årets Urørt, an award recognizing promising acts by by:Larm. In 2013, he
released I Spy Ep, followed by his studio album What's Life Without Losers in
