Mike Renzi
Michael Ernest Renzi, also known as Mike Renzi, was born on April 28, 1941, in
Providence, Rhode Island, was an American jazz musician, pianist, composer, and
music director. After graduating from the Boston Conservatory in 1973 and
Berklee College of Music in 1974, he became the musical director for Peggy Lee
and Mel Tormé for over 25 years, shaping their live performances. His recordings
include Tweedledum and Tweedledee (1991) with Blossom Dearie and collaborations
with Lena Horne, Grady Tate, and Cynthia Crane, reflecting a jazz repertoire. He
