Mike Andersen, born Mikkel Dybdal Andersen on February 25, 1977, in Rødekro,
Denmark, is a Danish songwriter, guitarist, and singer. Andersen immersed
himself in blues, rhythm & blues, and soul, influenced by artists such as
Lightning Hopkins, B.B. King, Muddy Waters, and John Lee Hooker. At 20, he met
blues guitarist Otis Grand and performed with the Otis Grand All Star Revue at
the Great British R & B Festival in Colne, England, which inspired him to form
