Mihkel Mattisen
Mihkel Mattisen, born on August 13, 1976, in Tallinn, Estonia, is an Estonian
pianist, pop singer, songwriter, and music producer. He studied piano at Tallinn
Music High School, followed by further education at the Estonian Academy of
Music and Theatre from 1994 to 2000. Mattisen's breakthrough came with his
involvement in the band Jam (1994–2005) and the pop-ensemble Swingers. He
released his debut album Lihtsalt oma teed in 2005. He is the author of the song
"Et uus saaks alguse", which was performed by Birgit Õigemeel as Estonia's entry
