Middle Class Rut
Middle Class Rut, also known as MC Rut, is an American alternative rock band duo
consisting of vocalist/guitarist Zack Lopez and vocalist/drummer Sean Stockham.
Formed in Sacramento, California in 2006, the band initially gained traction
with several EPs, including the self-titled Red EP and Blue EP released in early
2008. Their breakthrough came when BBC Radio 1 DJ Zane Lowe featured their song
"Busy Bein' Born" as his Single of the Week in 2008. The band's debut
full-length album No Name No Color was released in 2010, followed by Pick Up
