Middle Brother is an American folk rock and alternative country supergroup
formed in 2009 in the United States. The trio consists of the singer-songwriters
John J. McCauley III (of Deer Tick), Taylor Goldsmith (of Dawes), and Matt
Vasquez (of Delta Spirit). They were revealed in 2010 during the SXSW festival,
where they performed an unannounced set under the moniker MG&V. The band
performed their first official show at The Troubadour in Los Angeles in December
