Michio Woirgardt, also known as Michio, was born on June 22, 1971 in
Saarbrücken, Germany, and is a German-Japanese guitarist and composer. He began
receiving classical guitar lessons at age eight and later joined the Saarbrücken
Guitar Ensemble. He studied at the University of Music and Performing Arts
Vienna, where he co‑founded the flamenco trio Moros y Cristianos. He released
his album Zambúllete in 2004, followed by Así nada más in 2008, and established
