Michael Patrick Kelly
The Irish-American singer, musician and composer Michael Patrick Kelly was born
on December 5, 1977 in Dublin, Ireland. Paddy", as he is known to many of his
fans, became famous in the 1990s with his siblings in the band The Kelly Family.
As a teenager, he demonstrated his great talent as a songwriter and at the age
of 15 was responsible for the song "An Angel", which led to the band's
commercial breakthrough in 1994. The accompanying album Over the Hump stormed to
the top of the charts in Germany, Austria and Switzerland in the same year.
