Michael Palmer
Michael Palmer was born in Maxfield Park, Kingston, Jamaica, in 1960 and emerged
as a dancehall and reggae singer. His career began in the early 1980s with the
single "Mr. Landlord" and the 1983 release "Rent Man"; the track "I'm Still
Dancing" soon followed, establishing his presence on local radio. Palmer
released a series of albums from 1983 to 1990, including Showcase, Star
Performer, and Love Is a Hurting Thing, and recorded notable singles such as
