Michael Bublé - born on September 9, 1975 in Burnaby, British Columbia (Canada)
- was 16 when he first performed in Canadian nightclubs. His Italian grandfather
paid for his singing lessons and negotiated concerts for him. He went on to win
the Canadian Youth Talent Search competition, although for several years his
unfashionable ballad style was confined to cruise ships, shopping malls and
