Mhairi Lawson
Mhairi Lawson is a Scottish opera soprano singer who studied at the Guildhall
School of Music and Drama. Her professional breakthrough came with a debut
recording of English and Scottish songs by Joseph Haydn. She performed with
Les Arts Florissants, the Scottish Chamber Orchestra, and conductors such as
William Christie and John Eliot Gardiner. She appeared in operatic roles with
the English National Opera, the Cité de la musique, and Wigmore Hall, and sang
