Mew, a Danish alternative rock band, was formed in 1995 in Hellerup, a suburb of
Copenhagen. The group consisted of Jonas Bjerre on lead vocals, Johan Wohlert on
bass, and Silas Utke Graae Jørgensen on drums. They initially gained attention
with their debut album A Triumph for Man (1997) and its follow-up Half the World
