Born in Denderleeuw in Flemish Belgium on April 4, 1999, Mentissa Aziza was
drawn to dance and singing from a very young age. In 2014, at the age of
fifteen, she auditioned for the Belgian version of The Voice Kids, which she won
in its first season. With no further opportunities following that experience,
she signed up in 2019 for the Dutch version of The Voice of Holland but did not
make it past the semifinals. She then tried her luck in France on the 10th
