Austrian musician and pop singer Melissa Naschenweng was born in Villach on July 11, 1990. She became passionate about music at a young age and gained her first experience on stage before coming second in the folk music Grand Prix Melodien der Alpen in 2010. She took part in the Musikantenstadl young talent competition in 2012 and the Puls 4 casting show Herz von Österreich in 2014.
