Melanie Williams, born on October 28, 1964, in the United Kingdom, is a British
singer. Her music career began with her involvement as a guest vocalist for the
Manchester-based electronic group Sub Sub on their hit single "Ain't No Love
(Ain't No Use)". This exposure led to further critical success and
collaborations. Williams co-founded Square One Studios in Bury, Greater
Manchester, where she recorded tracks assisted by house engineer Stephen
