Medjy
Medjy Toussaint, known by his stage name Medjy, is a Haitian singer born in
Canada. He grew up in Haiti and began learning piano at the age of twelve,
before moving to Montreal to pursue higher education. He formed his first band,
TNT, then launched his solo career with a debut album, before joining the
kompa-zouk group Emposib, which found success with the track “Sa Pa Lov”.
Returning to his solo career, Medjy released the album 48 Rebecca in 2023 and
enjoyed success with the track “Chanm 22”, which reached number 29 on the
Outre-Mer Songs chart in 2026.
