Meat Beat Manifesto, a British electronic music group founded in 1987 by Jack
Dangers and Jonny Stephens in Swindon, United Kingdom, began as a collaboration
of sampling and hip‑hop beats. Their breakthrough came with the 1987 single
“Suck Hard”, followed by the debut album Storm the Studio, which established
