The McAuley Schenker Group, an American hard rock band, was formed in 1986 and
disbanded in 1993. The group was founded by German guitarist Michael Schenker
and Irish singer Robin McAuley. After disbanding his previous band, the Michael
Schenker Group, due to personal and health reasons, Schenker sought a new
partner for his next project. With the help of Klaus Meine and Rudolf Schenker,
he found McAuley, who had gained popularity as part of the Far Corporation and
