MC Kako, born Jackson Frayle Toledo Campos in Maringá, Paraná, is a Brazilian
rapper and funk artist celebrated for his conscious style that reflects life in
São Paulo's favelas. Originally inspired by hip hop, MC Kako began his career in
rap before gravitating toward funk, especially the conscious funk subgenre known
for its socially aware lyrics. After recording his first studio track in 2018,
