MC Gui is the stage name of Guilherme Kaue Castanheira Alves, a Brazilian funk ostentação singer and racing driver who was born in 1998 in São Paulo. He began writing funk lyrics at age ten with his brother, leading to a professional musical investment by his father. Alves achieved national recognition with the release of the song “Ela Quer”, followed by the 2013 single “O Bonde Passou”, which received more than 1.5 million views on YouTube.
