Mayhem
Mayhem was founded in Oslo in 1984. The Norwegian band plays black metal and is
considered one of the formative formations of the early Norwegian extreme metal
scene. The founding members are Øystein Aarseth, born on March 22, 1968 in Oslo,
Jørn Stubberud, born on September 8, 1968 in Oslo, and Kjetil Manheim. Mayhem
began rehearsing and playing their first concerts in the underground in 1984.
With its raw sound, radical aesthetics and uncompromising attitude, the group
