Maybebop
Maybebop was a German a cappella quartet from Germany. Formed in 1992, the
group’s founding member was Oliver Gies. Initially a jazz ensemble, the group
expanded their repertoire to include pop, rock, and gospel covers. Their first
album, Light Fare (1996), was released. Notable members included Jan Malte
Bürger, Lukas Teske, and Christoph Hiller. Their musical profile sharpened with
the album On the Ears (2001). In 2004, the Christmas album Christmas (2004) was
