Traditional music
Mayalde, a traditional music group from Salamanca, Spain, was formed in 1980 by Eusebio and Pilar, who originated from La Maya and Aldeatejada. The duo initially performed as part of the pioneering salmantina group Tronco Seco before forming Mayalde, combining elements of their hometowns' names. Their debut album, La Herencia, was released in 1986. In subsequent years, they expanded to include their children Laura and Arturo.
