Maya Sar
Maja Hodžić, professionally known as Maya Sar, is a Bosnian singer-songwriter.
She graduated with a Bachelor of Music, concentrating in piano, from the
Sarajevo Music Academy at the University of Sarajevo in 2005. Before launching
her solo career, she worked as a backing vocalist for prominent artists,
including Dino Merlin. She represented Bosnia and Herzegovina at the Eurovision
Song Contest 2012 with the song "Korake ti znam," progressing from the
semi-final to the grand final, where she finished in 18th place. Her debut
studio album, Krive Riječi, was released in 2013.
