Maya Isacowitz
Maya Isacowitz is an Israeli folk rock and alternative rock singer-songwriter
from Ma'ayan Baruch, born on November 25, 1987. The daughter of South African
immigrants, Isacowitz began her career at age 14 and independently recorded her
debut album, Safe & Sound, at age 21. Re-released in 2011 via High Fidelity, the
album reached gold status and included the singles “Is It Alright” and “Brave
Again”. In 2012, Isacowitz received the ACUM Award for Best New Artist and
