Mauricio Mesones, born Daniel Mauricio Mesones Lapouble on October 1, 1980, in
San Martín de Porres, Lima, Peru, is a Peruvian singer. He began his musical
journey in adolescence, participating in local bands and contests. Mesones'
breakthrough came in 2007 when he joined Bareto, becoming their lead vocalist.
With Bareto, he released several albums including Cumbia (2008) and Sodoma y
Gamarra (2009), with notable songs like "No juegues con el diablo" (2010) and
"La santa sazón" (2011). Mesones left Bareto in 2019 to pursue a solo career,
releasing his debut album Viaje Tropical i...
