Maucha Adnet, born Maria Lucia Gonçalves Adnet on June 11, 1963, in Rio de
Janeiro, Brazil, is a Brazilian jazz singer and songwriter known for her
contributions to Música Popular Brasileira. Coming from a musical family, she
began her career in 1978 with the vocal group Céuda Boca and went on to
accompany notable singers such as Chico Buarque, Edu Lobo, Joyce, César Camargo
Mariano, Dorival Caymmi, and Caetano Veloso. From 1984 to 1994, Adnet was part
