Matt Pond PA
Matt Pond PA, a rock band from Philadelphia, was formed in 1998 by Matt Pond.
The group gained early traction by winning an unsigned bands competition
sponsored by CDNOW and released their debut album Deer Apartments that same
year. In 2004, after moving to Brooklyn, they released the breakthrough album
Emblems. Notable releases included Several Arrows Later (2005) and Last Light
(2007). The song "Snow Day" from the EP Winter Songs gained wider recognition
when featured in a Starbucks commercial. In 2010, Matt Pond PA released The Dark
Leaves, recorded with producer Chris Hansen....
