Matias Damásio, born Matias Damásio on May 9, 1982, in Benguela, Angola, is a
singer known for his contributions to Kizomba and world music. He began his
career in 2000, performing at religious festivals and participating in
television contests such as Estrelas no Palco and Domingão Coca-Cola. Damásio's
debut album, Vitória was released in 2005, followed by Amor é Festa na Lixeira
