Masaki Sakai, born on August 6, 1946, in Japan, is a multifaceted entertainer known for his roles as a talent, singer, actor, TV host, and radio personality. He first gained prominence in 1962 at the age of 16 when he joined The Spiders, a music band led by Akihiro Tanabe, during his time at Kamakura Academy. He shared vocal duties with Jun Inoue, and they achieved hits like "Yuuhi ga naiteiru"(1966).  After The Spiders disbanded in 1970, Sakai embarked on a solo career and diversified into acting and hosting.
