Mary Jane Girls
The Mary Jane Girls, an American girl group from the United States of America,
were formed in 1979. The group consisted of Joanne "JoJo" McDuffie, Cheryl Ann
"Cheri" Bailey, Candice "Candi" Ghant, Kimberly "Maxi" Wuletich, and Yvette
"Corvette" Marine. They were protégées of musician Rick James and began their
career as part of his backing band, the Stone City Band. The group's
breakthrough came in 1983 when they signed with Motown Records and released
