Mary Ann Redmond, born November 3, 1959 in Richmond, Virginia, is an American
singer known for her versatile vocal style in jazz and pop music. She began
performing at a young age and studied opera and voice at Virginia Commonwealth
University. She recorded her debut album Prisoner of the Heart (1994) with a
band led by saxophonist Al Williams. Redmond founded Spellbound Music and
released subsequent albums including Here I Am (2000). She collaborated with
