Martin Gallop, born in 1962 in Toronto, is a singer and songwriter who has lived
in Germany since the 1980s. At age 12, he began writing his own songs and later
traveled along the Canadian West Coast with an acoustic guitar before moving to
Germany at 21. Gallop's first major album release was How Much Is The World? in
2001, followed by Strange Place Called Home in 2007 under EMI. His subsequent
albums include Happiness in Progress (2008) and Most Beautiful Song (2013).
