Rapper Marten Laciny, known under the stage names Marteria and Marsimoto, was
born in Rostock on December 4, 1982. As a youngster, he was a successful
footballer and also played for the German U-national teams before making a
career as an actor and model. He then took his first musical steps with the
Rostock-based band Underdog Cru and released his debut album Base Ventura in
