Mark Otis Selby, born September 2, 1961, in Enid, Oklahoma, was an American
blues rock singer-songwriter and guitarist. He began his career as a solo artist
and later formed a performing duo with his wife, songwriter Tia Sillers. Selby's
breakthrough came through collaborations on notable songs such as "Blue on
Black" with Kenny Wayne Shepherd, which reached Number 1 and was named Billboard
magazine's rock track of the year in 1998. He also co-wrote "There's Your
