Liv-Marit Bergman, known professionally as Marit Bergman, was born on May 21,
1975, in Rättvik, Sweden. She began her music career as a member of the 1990s
punk band Candysuck. Her solo debut came with the album 3.00 A.M. Serenades,
released on her own label Sugartoy Recordings in 2002, which was later
re-released by RCA/BMG in 2003. Produced by Björn Yttling of Peter Bjorn and
John, this album garnered critical acclaim. Her second album, Baby Dry Your Eye
(2004), produced by Marco Manieri, earned her five Swedish Grammis nominations
and two awards: Composer of the Year and Femal...
