Marisa Valle Roso

Marisa Valle Roso, born 22 December 1987 in La Felguera, Langreo, Spain, is a Spanish singer rooted in Asturian folk music. She began performing with her brother Fernando, before being mentored by Alfredo Canga. Between 2003 and 2011, Valle Roso won several Asturian song competitions, as well as the Silvino Argüelles Memorial Best Singer of the Year Award and the RPA Critics' Award for Best Voice of the Year, both in 2008.
