Marion Evi Rung, born on December 7, 1945, in Helsinki, Finland, is a Finnish
pop singer. She began her career in 1961 when she placed second in a Finnish
song contest, which led to the release of her first single, "Brigitte Bardot"
(1961). In 1962 and 1973, Rung represented Finland in the Eurovision Song
Contest, achieving notable success with her 1973 entry "Tom Tom Tom" (1973),
which secured Finland's second-best result until 2006 by finishing at number 6.
