Marie Wilson
Marie Wilson is an Australian pop rock singer and songwriter from Melbourne born
in 1974. Wilson began performing in 1993 and signed with Warner Music Australia
in 1997. Recognition increased with the singles “Next Time” (1998) which reached
number 21 on the ARIA charts and “Won't Keep a Good Girl Down” (1998) which
reached number 31. Their discography includes the debut album Real Life (1998)
which reached number 7 in Australia. The artist received nominations for Best
New Talent and Breakthrough Artist – Single at the ARIA Music Awards in 1998.
