Maria Arnal Dimas, born in 1987 in Badalona, Spain, is a Catalan singer known
for her work in pop music. She began playing piano and guitar during
adolescence, composing her first songs. Arnal's musical career took off when she
discovered the archive of Alan Lomax during her recovery from a femur fracture.
This led her to create a repertoire based on traditional Iberian songs and field
recordings, collaborating with musician Marcel Bagés and signing with Fina
