Marcus Spencer Hummon, born December 28, 1960, in Washington D.C., is an
American country music singer-songwriter. He moved frequently during childhood
due to his father's work. Marcus Hummon's breakthrough as a songwriter came with
"Pilgrims on the Way", recorded by Michael Martin Murphey in 1988. His debut
album All in Good Time was released in September 1995, featuring "Bless the
Broken Road" and "One of These Days". In 2006, Rascal Flatts' version of "Bless
