Marcel Pavel
Marcel Pavel, born on December 4, 1959, in Independenta, Galati County, Romania,
is a singer known for his contributions to Romanian pop music. He became
nationally known in 2000 with the hit "Frumoasa mea", written by Ovidiu
Komornyik. Pavel achieved significant success in 2002 when he and Monica Anghel
won the national selections for the Eurovision Song Contest with their entry
"Tell Me Why", which placed ninth in the final, marking Romania's highest score
at that time. He also lent his voice to dub the singing parts of Claude Frollo
in the Romanian version of the animated film...
