Mansour Rahbani
Mansour Rahbani, born on March 17, 1925 in Antelias, Lebanon, was a composer,
poet, musician, and producer. He and his brother Assi Rahbani began working in
music and theater in the mid-20th century. Their early collaborations with the
singer Fairuz (born Nouhad Haddad) produced numerous successful songs, becoming
a prominent force in Lebanese music. In 1967, Mansour Rahbani co-wrote the film
Safar Barlek with Assi Rahbani and Fairuz. After Assi’s death in 1986, Mansour
