Alessio Mininni, known professionally as Maninni, was born on December 19, 1997,
in Bitetto, a town in the Metropolitan City of Bari, Italy. He is an Italian
singer-songwriter who developed a passion for music after attending a U2 concert
with his father at the age of nine, leading him to take up the guitar shortly
thereafter. Mininni's early career steps included competing in the 16th season
of Amici di Maria De Filippi in 2016 and releasing two singles, "Parlami di te"
